Leaving Thunder Bay
Waterloo to Calgary in a Cessna 150
As we head back out of the terminal, Werner
sees a poster for pilots: "Did you close your
flight plan?" Yikes! At our fairly large airport,
Werner is used to the control tower closing
the flight plan upon arrival...but with that, uh,
little parking dilemma, and unaccustomed
security protocol on the tarmac, he realizes
the flight plan did not get closed...
(I guess that’s why the sign is posted!)
With a horrified look on his face, he dashes
over to the next building and into the Flight
Office to call in -- thankfully still within the
SARS time limit!
Refreshed and refuelled,
we set out on the next leg
to Dryden. We’re off, and
It's just after one o'clock.
We've seen so much
already, yet we're still
only in Ontario!
In two hours we'll reach
our last Ontario stop.
Wednesday, July 9 - Leg 6: Thunder Bay to Dryden
