Waterloo to Calgary in a Cessna 150
The creek which gives the city its
name traces a distinctive pattern
as it meanders through the place.
The Canadian Pacific Railroad
builders arrived here in 1882.
The airport is on the east side of
the City of Swift Current, so we
get to do a bit of aerial city-sight-
seeing as we head west.
This is the city where Medicare was first
introduced, many years before it was
implemented in the rest of Canada.
